Who benefits from the project Provide medical transportation services for clients who receive services through the Hamilton County Elderly Services Program (HCESP). Medical transportation is a critical element of clients’ care plans; 23.7% of clients are authorized medical transportation and receive approximately three one-way trips per month. Demand for HCESP has outpaced projections. Additional funding for medical transportation services will directly address one of the most significant unmet needs among local seniors, as well as reduce strain on levy funds and allow agency to move people off the waiting list more quickly.
