Improving Women’s Economic Security


The Women’s Fund of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation is accepting grant applications for projects intended to improve women’s economic security in our region. This is a joint effort with the Charlotte R. Schmidlapp Fund, Fifth Third Bank, Trustee. Grants of $10,000 or more will be awarded to programs and services for women and girls in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties in Ohio; Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties in Kentucky; and Dearborn County, Indiana.

Applicants should use the full version of the Ohio Common Grant application, available at the
Ohio Grantmakers Forum. The deadline is May 24, 2010. Six copies of the application need to be submitted. In addition to the application please provide a cover letter. In the cover letter include how your program is specifically designed to meet the needs of women and girls in our community.   

Recipients will be announced before August 1.

Grow Strong Girls through Leadership


The Grow Strong Girls through Leadership 2010-2011 grant program allows educators to apply for funds for girls’ leadership programs. The Women’s Fund serves Hamilton, Butler, Clermont and Warren counties in Ohio; Dearborn County in Indiana; and Campbell, Boone and Kenton counties in Kentucky.
