The Foundation Society: Recognizing Legacies
The Foundation Society recognizes people who have remembered GCF in their wills, estate plans or have included GCF in a planned gift. A planned gift may include a charitable remainder trust, a charitable gift annuity or the beneficiary designation of life insurance or an individual retirement fund (IRA).
Foundation Society members receive regular publications and invitations from GCF and are gratefully recognized in our online annual report (unless anonymity is requested).
Funds established by Foundation Society members enable them to plan and provide continuing support for the charitable organizations that they care about most. Foundation Society members may establish a “future” fund with their planned gift and name a family member or other person as advisor to the fund enabling them to make grant suggestions to charitable organizations.
We are grateful to those generous individuals who have entrusted GCF with their planned gifts (see list below). If you would like more information about joining the Foundation Society, contact Margaret Gaither at (513) 241-2880.

Foundation Society Annual Luncheon
Members of GCF’s Foundation Society were treated to a “behind the scenes” tour of the Cincinnati Museum Center’s Geier Collections and Research Center. The annual luncheon afforded donors a look at several collections that are rarely open to the public.
“The Foundation Society was formed to recognize our donors who have left us a bequest or other planned gift,” said Margaret Gaither, GCF’s Senior Giving Strategies Officer. Douglass McDonald, President and CEO Cincinnati Museum Center, was the featured speaker.
